NuWay, Inc. was incorporated in 1993 and is a mid sized, non union masonry contractor specializing in commercial, industrial,
institutional and public works projects. We are proud to be able to bond your project with Culbertson Insurance Services at a
very competitive rate. We offer full service masonry in our bids, including the shoring of openings, installation of imbedded
items, setting of door frames, drypacking and caulking or any other requirements you might have. We will also furnish and
install rebar which we fabricate in house and will provide any other specialty items you may require.
NuWay, Inc. is a member of the California Conference of Masonry Contractors Associations, Inc. (CCMCA) and the Masonry
Industry Training Association (MITA).
An overview of our team:
President: Roger Coons has been in the masonry trade since 1974, and has worked as a bricktender, bricklayer, foreman, and
estimator before forming NuWay, Inc. in 1993. As your project proceeds, Roger will be behind the scenes, overseeing quality,
production and carefully monitoring all changes, to insure your project proceeds smoothly.
Roger is also one of the founding directors of the Masonry Industry Training Association (MITA), formed to provide training to
the next generation of masons in our local high schools and colleges.
Estimator: Jim Maloch has been with the company since April of 2001 and with the aid of Tradesmen’s Masonry Estimating
software, has established a reputation for accurate and detailed masonry bids, regardless of the degree of difficulty.
Office Manager: Jennifer Coons has been with the company since 1998 and handles all of the accounting. Her duties include
making sure your accounting department has every thing they need such as contracts, submittals, releases, insurance,
invoices, etc.
Safety Coordinator: Kim Coons has been with the company since 2002 and handles all of the safety needs for the company.
Her duties include working with the Estimator on upcoming projects out to bid, on-site Safety and Project coordinating.
The Concrete Masonry Association of California and Nevada has recently acknowledged our success with awards for the
